Im just glad they have a real Mahjong game, and not one of those matching tile games. I am only a casual Mahjong player so I dont really know the details on the scoring, but the gameplay is exactly how I play. Pretty good looking graphics, though the animation can be smoother. I would also suggest that the Pong and Chow have a timer (maybe 2-3 secs) to simulate the intensity of having to make such decisions in a real game. I recommend for any player who wants to play Mahjong on their Iphone!

The app is in Chinese right now, but an English version will be included in the next update. That being said, I found it easy to play even though I cannot read Chinese. Growing up I use to play, so I understood the rules and gameplay. If youre a beginner, wait until the English version comes out. If you know how to play already and want to get a Mahjong app, get this one. The controls are easy, the gameplay is fair and its endless hours of fun. Its easy as picking a tile and flicking it into the discard pile and you can even zoom in on tiles to get a closer look. Only thing I would have liked is having an undo button if you accidently flick the wrong tile. Other than that, this is a great Mahjong app!

I have this and the china mahjong game. I prefer this one by far. Really good speed and love the Taiwan-style scoring. One minor complaint is the graphics are not great, so minus .5 stars for that.

I am a kid and I love this game. Easy to play with instruction and good for warm up it brain. Soooooo awesome

Terrific app, lovely tile set that looks real in magnified view, good gameplay and, now, more accessible for English speakers, too. My only complaint is that when I completed the rounds of all four winds, no winner was declared but, rather, the game went back to East/East and continued. I did change graphic and sound options mid-game, but that shouldnt have made a difference. Of the growing number of REAL mah jong games out there, this and China Mahjong are my favorites. Now Im looking for a good one with Japanese Riich rules. But for a 16-tile version, look no further.

Ive already spent too many hours playing the game - its that addictive if you are into mahjong. I would like the ability to play my music as opposed to the packaged music.

Awesome game, nice sound effects, optional backgrounds and clean graphics... a true 16-tile mahjong fans dream come true. My only request is to shorten the display name to something like "Mahjong" as opposed to "iGame...jong" and probably better tile graphics.

4 star because it needs work. Some time when you win your money goes to the person across from you. Please fix! This game is very addicting.

I always play the real set. Glad to see a game like this on iPhone. However, I wish there was a way to play with another player over wifi. Also really like fantasyland mahjong. Graphics are better than this one but hard to see discards and didnt like the one click discard. It was too easy to accidently throw tiles away. Highly recommend this one!!!

this is by far the most enjoyable mahjong experience to be had on the iphone as of July 2009... Very well designed and the controls are great! Also, the graphics are very impressive and take advantage of the landscape mode very well. Multiplayer and the ability to play my own music would be awesome. and maybe alternate backgrounds?

If youre looking for an app with actual mahjong, this is the best youll find. Quick efficient gameplay and some nice customizations. There is some flaw but it looks nice and works well, aside from occasional scoring problems. It be nice to be able to play music while using the app, and the customizations are nice but limited: maybe somemore characters and backgrounds? Otherwise great! Worth the money

Almost a year & no updates. This is ok. But not as challenging as it could be. Also no end to games.

Really enjoyable. Now I want iPad version!

Although this game is fun. There are many bugs. For example both winds and dragons will come out with 5 tiles each (instead of 4). Also, sometimes when Im ready to 自摸, the program forces me to throw a tile away, instead of letting me declare a win. Another bug is, sometimes Im not given the choice to ignore a 吃 or 碰, and instead draw a tile. I have to accept the 吃 or 碰, otherwise will not be allowed to continue. To the developers please fix these bugs so I can feed my mahjong addiction.

This is a great app for fans of the 16 card Taiwan style of majong. My only gripe is that the AI can be cheap sometimes but I did notice the latest update may have fixed that issue. Overall a great app!

I would really like to return this game because i thought it would be alot funner because it came out to be relaly bad so dont buy this app!

Something is wrong here. Since I installed the game, my phone goes nuts at random times, and really messes up if I get a text message while playing. Malware?????? Its so bad, that I have deleted the game. I have been watching the game play for a while, and its not that there is a good AI; the "players" are dealt durn near winning hands from the start. There are pungs, chows etc. from the turn of the first card. Also, the high score does not update, and the tile voice option has only worked one time out of many games.

Although I like this game very much, I think the game set up make the computer players self-win 自摸too much, to make this game interesting, you should adjust the A.I.

It gives inaccurate scores. Disappointed. Really needs an upgrade and a newer and better version.
